| Pro-Inspexx Home Inspector Paul Duey |
Paul started doing inspections in 2006 and has done more than four hundred inspections since he started. Paul worked for one of the largest builders in the West Island. He has also been a professional painting contractor, maintenance director at the Dorval airport, servicing all the restaurants and a retail manager servicing professional contractors. Working closely with all the sub-trades making sure all of the work was properly done was the his first and foremost responsibility. Paul even had the opportunity to inspect several houses that I proudly built about 15 years ago!
“When you’re used to working on homes from the footing up, you understand how a house is put together, for me the structure of a house has been largely de-mystified”.
The transition to building inspector has been a natural, seamless transition for me. As a member of the AIBQ, I follow the standards and practices developed by the association and continue to further my knowledge by taking courses to maintain my status as a member.
As an inspector it is my job to give my clients information on the specific conditions and how these conditions can affect their investment. An inspection should reflect how a house is performing and how its current conditions will affect its performance in the future.
I look foreward to working with all my clients and answering all of their questions they can come up during an inspection and after an inspection, in order that they make the best decision possible on their future home. |
